Louvre

This project introduces a new-build home in west London, following the completion of a neighbouring extension.

The house reinterprets the traditional London brick typology, combining a composed street-facing façade with a lighter, more open rear. Towards the garden, the building transitions into a glass and steel structure, with timber louvres providing privacy within the dense urban setting while allowing generous daylight inside. A series of lower ground spaces accommodate more private functions, including a cinema room and a concealed car lift for multiple vehicles. The result is a contemporary home that builds on familiar forms while introducing a more refined and modern spatial experience.
